The Museum School

meetings

The Museum School Board of Directors is responsible for ensuring that the academic program of The Museum School of Avondale Estates is successful, that the school’s program and operation are faithful to the terms of its charter, and that the school is a viable organization. 

The Board of Directors generally meets on a monthly basis, as does each of the seven Board-level committees, described below.  Board-level committees include both Board and non-Board members.  Meetings are open to the public and new committee members are always welcome.  Please contact the respective committee chair to participate.

Meeting Schedule

All meetings start at 7:00 PM and are held in the school's art room, unless otherwise noted.  The school is located at 923 Forrest Blvd., Decatur, GA 30030. The art room is upstairs. Visitors should contact Patti Ghezzi at patti.ghezzi@themuseumschool.org to arrange to be let in for the meeting, as we keep the door to the school locked.
