WE’RE BACK!!! This spring, The Kilometer Kids Running Club will be back at The Museum School. Due to the popularity of the club from previous years, this spring we will accept up to 80 participants. Our spring season will be a 10 week training program aimed at helping to prepare the runners for the 2017 Peachtree Jr. race. The season will include one practice day a week(Mondays or Wednesdays from 2:50-4:15pm) and culminate on Saturday, May 13th with the Peachtree Jr.
Parents will need to select one day a week for their child to participate, either Mondays or Wednesdays. Students will not be allowed to switch practice days once the season has begun. Our program will follow the Kilometer Kids curriculum and all participants will earn incentive rewards for completing milestones at the completion of the program.
Membership in our running club is free and is open to all students ages 7-14, however spaces are limited. Spots will be given on a first come, first serve basis. Additionally, older students will have the opportunity to sign up to be a Running Club Junior Assistant.
