Join us in Our Community Kitchen for Fresh Salads and Smoothies

Third graders at The Museum School are excited to share the fruits of their labor during Unit 4 Exhibit Night on Thursday, May 19th.

During this unit, students worked in collaboration with garden buddies at Avondale Elementary as a service project. The students planted romaine and radicchio lettuces, collard greens, kale, Swiss chard, peas, green beans, and more.

The Community Kitchen in the TMS Garden will be open from 7:10 – 7:55. Third grade will be selling salads ($3) and smoothies ($2) from the harvested vegetables. All funds raised from the community kitchen sales will benefit Avondale Elementary and TMS garden programs.
