Welcome to Into the WildThe Museum School‘s second Exhibit Night of the 2021-2022 school year!

As we mentioned last quarter, our Exhibit Night focus this year is on our in-building unit-long-learning displays, instead of creating a virtual-only event. Shared here is a peek into the wider expanse of our students’ Unit 2 explorations and observations. The bulk of our exhibit experience will be in-person for the students, culminating in our very first Exhibit Day on Friday 12/17. Our Explorers, dressed in their out-of-uniform best, will traverse the school building during the regular school day to tour and reflect on all the showcased student work. Hopefully they will move into December Break and the new year feeling proud, accomplished, and relaxed. They’ve absolutely earned it. So have we all.

We would also like to introduce you to Teaching Tolerance‘s Social Justice Standards. This is under the auspices of our Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) mission, and its coordinator, Brittney Ford. We will be using this framework for implementing anti-bias education, and applying this lens in planning and creating our Exhibit Night projects in the future.

Before we get to it, Principal Stewart would like to share a few words in the video below. The logos are of our Unit 2 expedition partners. When you’re ready to experience the exhibits, click on the grade levels, clubs, and connections you’d like to see. Choose the ‘full screen’ option where available to maximize your experience!

Enjoy!
