STEP (Stepping Toward Educational Progress) is an innovative after-school program, Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:00-6:15 p.m., designed to empower young minds and nurture their potential. At STEP, we believe that education complements the classroom, and every child continues their opportunities to explore, create, and thrive in a supportive environment.
Our comprehensive program offers a unique blend of stepping, academic support, project-based learning, and creative expression. STEP provides a safe and inspiring space for students to discover their passions, develop critical thinking skills, and build meaningful connections with peers and mentors.
With a focus on cultural responsiveness and inclusivity, STEP celebrates the diversity of all our students’ backgrounds and experiences. We foster an atmosphere of mutual respect, empathy, and collaboration, ensuring that each child feels seen, heard, and valued.
