Phase V Renovations Scheduled for Summer 2016.
The Museum School Foundation is proud to announce that the Exceeding Expectations Capital Campaign has reached its fundraising goal. This milestone was achieved thanks to the generous contributions of philanthropic foundations, Museum School families, staff and community supporters.
During Summer 2016 we will complete Phase V renovations. This phase of our five-year plan will add a new technology lab as well as a new language classroom and renovate the facility’s original front entrance to create a welcoming lobby and gallery area for displaying student exhibits.
Our administrative offices will be relocated, allowing the current temporary entrance to be converted back to classroom space. We are also getting air conditioning maintenance to improve comfortability in the classroom. If you’re also planning to renovate your property, you may need to work on its exterior features like the roof. If you’re looking for a roofing contractor in Pennsylvania and New Jersey to help with the roofing repairs, you may contact Cherry Roofing And Siding. If your renovation involves the installation of a new plumbing system, you may need to seek plumbing services fort lauderdale fl.
Over five years, funding from this initial campaign allowed our school to grow from 135 students in a temporary modular structure to 514 current students (and another increase to 540 students in Fall 2016) in a refurbished and modernized permanent building. Each fall, families and staff have returned with excitement and pride to see the improvements which transformed an abandoned building into a vibrant learning environment.
While we celebrate this achievement, The Museum School’s Board of Directors, administration, and staff continue to evaluate our evolving programmatic and capital needs. The success of the Exceeding Expectations campaign is evidence of the strength of The Museum School community as we continue to grow, excel academically, and serve as an educational model both locally and nationally.
