We need your help in preventing the spread of lice! Read more about head lice here. Despite popular belief, lice/nits can live in any hair texture, length, etc. Please check your child’s hair daily for lice/nits.
If lice or nits are found, please contact your homeroom teacher and Chantel Nelson – [email protected] – as soon as possible. Your child(ren) may return after they have been treated and re-checked by front office staff. There are many professionals around the area that guarantee lice free heads after your visit. Click here to learn more information about lice from one of our trusted lice removal experts and another local expert.
Though head lice survive less than 1–2 days if they fall off a person and cannot feed, we are being extra cautious in our classrooms by reducing carpet, bean bag, and rug time and asking students to avoid head to head contact with classmates.
