Join us March 30th at 7:30 PM in the Cafetorium to learn how you can get involved with The Museum School’s Governing Board.
The Museum School’s Governing Board is responsible for ensuring that TMS’s academic program is successful, that the school’s program and operation are faithful to the terms of its charter, and that the school remains a viable organization.
While the existing Board is fully equipped to handle existing school governance needs, doing so requires that we continuously seek talent to serve in upcoming anticipated vacancies. Over the next year, these could include officer positions and positions on the Board at large.
Specifically, Governing Board is currently seeking talented individuals who have accounting and/or finance experience to serve as Treasurer for the Board. Individuals possessing either a CPA or 10 years of financial/accounting experience should fill out an interest form or see this page for more information for nominating talented individuals to our Board.
Finance Chair / Treasurer
Treasurers can serve up to three (3) annual terms in this office. Given the importance of this role, we’re always seeking qualified financial professionals for our Finance Committee. Members will assist with various financial duties and can familiarize themselves with the roles and responsibilities of the Treasurer, should they wish to eventually serve in this role themselves.
