Please mark your calendar for curriculum night! Parents and Guardians of our K-4 Explorers will come on Wednesday, September 18, where we will provide two identical sessions for caregivers. You only need to attend one session. Please see below for both schedules. On Thursday, September 19, grades 5-8 will have their curriculum night. Parents will come with their Explorer and spend the evening walking through their child’s schedule, meeting each teacher that evening. We will also host an IB informational Meeting for 8th grade families with Druid Hills IB Coordinator, Brett Flater, at 7:15. Dekalb County has moved their timelines up for school choice, so we want to make sure you are aware of options after TMS.

Middle School Sessions: Thursday, September 19 (parents and students attend)
- 6:00 – 6:10 1st Period
- 6:13 – 6:23 2nd Period
- 6:26 – 6:36 3rd Period
- 6:39 – 6:49 4th Period
- 6:52 – 7:02 5th Period
- 7:05 – 7:15 6th Period

5th Grade Session: Thursday, September 19 (parents and students attend)

The goal of this evening is to let you get a glimpse of what the academic day looks like for our students, while interacting with the teacher and your Explorer. MAP scores will be sent home this evening, and you will be able to see student work samples. Quarterly Reports and complete portfolios will come home October 24.
