The Museum School’s Katherine Kelbaugh, Ph.D. was awarded the Johnnye V. Cox Award on Tuesday April 23 by The University of Georgia’s Mary Frances Early College of Education Educational Administration and Policy Program. The award is named for the late professor who joined the UGA faculty in 1946 and developed the College’s program of supervision. It is one of the highest awards in the field of supervision at UGA.
“Dr. Katherine Kelbaugh has been an innovative leader in the Museum School movement both locally at The Museum School of Avondale Estates but also at the national level. Her commitment and foresight in leading this important work epitomizes the spirit of the Johnnye V. Cox Award,” said Sally J.
