The PTO is so excited about Fall Fest 2020, community-building safe activities created by TMS parents, students, and teachers, with prizes from Avondale partners.

Pumpkin Decorating Contest

Show us your festive spirit with your creative pumpkin carving! No pumpkin, no problem! You can even create an arts and crafts designer pumpkin. We’ll give prizes in both carving and crafting pumpkin creations. Pumpkin Carving Submit Here. Designer Pumpkin Submit Here

Costume Contest

We know Halloween may look very different this year, but we’d still love to see some amazing costumes. Categories are Best Family, Pet, Scariest, Cutest, and Most Original. Prizes will be awarded in grade bands: K-1, 2-3, 4-5, and 6-8. Click here to submit photos, be sure to include student’s name and grade level.

Virtual Scavenger Hunt

Join in on the hunt with your family and friends as the Fall Fest Scavenger Hunt takes you to some of your favorite Avondale locations.  Make sure you bring your phone to scan QR codes for clues to each stop.  There are 5 stops for K-5 and 8 stops for 6-8!  Thanks to the middle school House Leaders for organizing the Scavenger Hunt.  We encourage you to dress up in costume and take pictures along they way!  Complete the hunt in 1 day or throughout the week- just make sure to finish up by the end of day on Friday, October 30.
To get started, here is Clue #1 for the first location: Clue #1, This is our home away from home. A place we can see our friends, eat, play and learn a little something too!

Food Drive

In supporting our Foundation’s theme of Being Thankful this season, we’d also like to give thanks by giving and sharing with those who may need support during the holidays. We’ll have a Food Drive drop-off at TMS on October 21 and October 26-30. Just drive through the front and place your items in the containers provided. For more info click HERE
