Dear DCSD Families and Staff,
The next phase of the Student Assignment Project is about to begin.
On Friday, March 20, the District will release the Round 2 scenarios along with a new Round 2 Feedback Survey. These updated scenarios reflect feedback from families, students, educators, and community members during Round 1.
As this next phase begins, the District is providing two ways for the community to review the information and continue participating in the process.
Virtual Community Information Sessions:
These districtwide Zoom sessions will present the Round 2 scenarios, provide updates on the process, and offer an opportunity to hear key information about the models.
Cluster-Based Small-Group Workshops (In Person):
These interactive sessions will bring families together within their high school clusters to review the scenarios, discuss impacts, and explore possible solutions alongside members of the SAP team and District leaders.
We’re listening, refining the scenarios, and working with you to shape what comes next for DeKalb schools.
