At a ceremony today in DeKalb County, State School Superintendent Richard Woods awarded the Musuem School’s Third Grade reading team with a Literacy Leader Banner for achievement in
reading. Our third graders scored above 90% on the Milestones Assessment in reading.
The event was held at Avondale Elementary School where nine other DeKalb County schools were also honored. Our staff who supported the third grade in reading last year attended the event, along
with other county officials and local political leaders.
We are very proud of the accomplishments of the 2022-23 third graders and the support of the staff that worked with them. They are (in alphabetical order): Lynnsey Armstrong, Shaniece Bates, Ashley
Beebe, Lillian Galicia, Petra Hunte, Bridget Jones, Olivia Moore, Kilan Pace, Jen Pomfret, Amy Rodriguez, Annie Rosenberg, Wren Searcy, Katie Stenberg, Mike Stewart, Sahar Tejani, and Yolanda Tickles.
