We will host two after school book clubs in October featuring books about Hispanic heritage and by Hispanic authors.
Kindergarten – 3rd Grade
Interested readers may join us on Tuesday, October 8 from 3:00-4:00pm to hear a few stories, participate in an activity, and eat a small snack relating to our theme. This Google form must be submitted by October 1 in order to participate.
4th – 8th Grade
Fourth through eighth graders are invited to join us on October 22 from 3:15-4:15 to discuss the book Merci Suarez Changes Gears. This book must be read before the book club, so make sure to get the book in time to read it. The Dekalb County Public Library has several copies available and even a couple of audio books.
