Looking for some easy ways to support The Museum School? Consider these:

Donate Auction Items

Have talent? Do you knit or build your own furniture? Can you offer a special service, such as consulting or catering? Consider donating items to our annual “Night at the Museum” silent and live auction, which raises much-needed funds to support the school. Last year’s auction raised more than $100,000 through the sale of vacation getaways, golf outings, autographed memorabilia, artwork, crafts, gift cards and much more.

Donate at Finders Keepers

Got clothes, furniture or home décor items crowding the attic? The Museum School has an account with Finders Keepers Fashions, Finders Keepers Furnishingsand Finders Keepers Boutique. Donate items in good condition, including men’s and women’s clothing, shoes, purses and other accessories, and furniture and home decor items. Ask that they be listed under the “Avondale Estates Charter School” account. When the items sell, 45% of the proceeds from clothing and 50% of the proceeds from furniture will benefit the school.

Shop Target

Join Target®’s Take Charge of Education® program, and everytime you use your Target® Visa® or Target® Card, The Museum School receives up to 1% of the purchase price. Box Tops for Education

It’s easy to earn cash for your school every time you buy groceries.  Just clip Box Tops coupons from hundreds of participating General Mills products and send them in to our school. Our school receives 10 cents for each Box Top when redeemed.  A collection bin is located in the lobby, or save your clipped Box Tops for our Fall and Spring contests. Find more ways to earn cash for our school at www.boxtops4education.com.

Recycle with Cartridge World

Think Green by reducing and reusing  and turn in your empty printer cartridges to the school (any size laser and ink jet).  For every cartridge we collect…the school receives money in exchange.  A  Cartridge World collection box is available in the school’s lobby to drop off your empties at any time.  Also stop by the Cartridge World in Decatur to purchase any of your printing supply needs.

GNG True Blue Schools

With Georgia Natural Gas, you can help your school earn money for books, art supplies, music programs, sports equipment, classroom technology and ANYTHING else our school needs. Simply sign up by using your GNG account number (this program applies to both new and existing customers) to enroll in the True Blue Schools program and select the Museum School to receive donations. When you pay your GNG bill on time, $5 a month goes to the school of your choice. It’s that easy, and it adds up fast.
