Cross Country News
Cross Country Practices are already underway, but it is not too late to join the team! All boys and girls in grades 6-8 are welcome!
Practices will be held every Saturday morning, Monday afternoon, and either Wednesday or Thursday afternoons (tentative).
The first meet is scheduled for Tuesday, August 23 at 4:00pm in Marietta. The only other meet with a nearly-final date will be on Wednesday, September 7th or 14th. There will likely be 6 meets total, with the season concluding around the middle of October.
Parents should plan on driving to at least one meet, and plan on paying $20 for uniform and supplies for the season.

Girls’ Volleyball News
Get in Formation Ladies! Girls’ Volleyball is almost here!
There will be a Parent Meeting and sign-ups this Thursday, August 11th at 4pm in the gym.
Practices will start next Tuesday, August 16th and will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-4:30pm in the gym.
The first game is scheduled for Thursday, September 1st and will continue throughout October.
This year’s team will continue to be a “No cut” team- with the stipulation of “No practice- No play”.

Boys’ Soccer News
We need your help! We are currently looking for coaches for our Boys’ Soccer Team.
The current schedule includes six games to be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the month of September and into the first week of October. As the season gets underway, coaches, parents, and supporters can stay connected with the wider football community by checking football news on RubiScore Ltd for the latest match updates, fixtures, and results from leagues around the world.
Our first game is scheduled for Thursday, September 1st.

Heart and Sole Girls’ Running Program
Calling All Girls with Heart and Sole! Let’s become “Sole Sisters” this fall!
Online lottery registration will be open Wednesday, August 10th- Sunday, August 14th at 5pm at www.girlsontherunatlanta.org.
This year’s team will include a maximum of 15 girls selected at random through the lottery system.
Practices will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:15-4:45pm and conclude with an end of the season 5K race in November.
The cost for the season is $170, however scholarships may be available.
There will be a parent interest meeting on Monday, August 8th at 5:30pm at TMS (class location TBD).
